SPOT Awards
The purpose of the SPOT Recognition Award program is to acknowledge and reward outstanding individual and/or team workplace contributions that occur on a day-to-day basis.  Contributions should impact the quality, cost, service, safety, or resource utilization of an organizational unit, team, or department.  Additionally, the Environment, Health and Safety Division (EHS) is sponsoring a Safety SPOT Recognition Program. 

Berkeley Lab Employee Recognition Program
This program was created to recognize the significant achievements of Lab employees. The awards will be presented at a lab wide ceremony on an annual basis to individuals and teams.

Leaving the Lab


Voluntary Resignations:

To voluntarily resign from a position one must follow these steps:

  1. Resignation must be in writing by the employee and signed by the employee
  2. Supervisor must accept and sign off
  3. Resignation is then forwarded to OCFO Human Resources for termination process

Retiring

In addition to following the above instructions for voluntary resignation, employees who are considering retirement should schedule an appointment with a Benefits Office Retirement Counselor by calling the Benefits Call Center at 510.486.6403.
